Will it scratch my hardwood floors?
No. EVA floor pads come already fitted to the base at the factory, so the planter sits lifted off the floor from the moment you unbox it. Nothing to peel, nothing to stick.
Will it leak indoors?
No. The drainage plug arrives already sealed into the drainage hole. The planter is watertight out of the box.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. Pull out the rubber plug to open the drainage hole and the planter is ready for outdoor planting. The 2K outdoor-grade finish is UV, freeze, and crack resistant.
What are the two coconut mats for?
They're optional, bagged with instructions, and do different jobs. The square Soil-Saver liner goes at the base before you add soil — it prevents soil loss, improves drainage, and keeps airflow to the roots. The round Soil Shield lays over the soil surface once planted — it keeps the surface clean, reduces splashing when you water, retains moisture, and deters pets from digging.
Is it safe around pets?
Yes. The fiberstone itself is inert and sealed. If pets dig, the optional round Soil Shield mat lays over the soil surface and deters them.
How heavy is it?
Fiberstone weighs about 70% less than natural stone — most sizes are a comfortable one-person lift, even planted. You can rearrange the room without help.
Do I plant directly in it or use a nursery pot?
Both work. Indoors, most customers drop the nursery pot straight in and leave the plug sealed — easiest watering, zero mess. Outdoors, pull the plug and plant directly so the drainage hole can do its job.
